WVIHOP Directors Marvin and Sally Adams moved to the Wabash Valley in May 2008 and officially launched WVIHOP in July 2008 with our Friday evening DESIRE MORE prayer gathering for the region. The Adams have been leading in the prayer movement for over 12 years and in full-time ministry for almost 20 years. After ministering in Chicago for a number of years, they moved to Kansas City in 1998 and ended up helping launch IHOP-KC. In 1999 they moved back to Chicago and in 2000 planted the house of prayer in downtown Chicago and directed there until 2006. In 2006 they moved back to Kansas City to join the leadership team of IHOP-KC where Marvin helped direct the Forerunner Music Academy. In 2008, Marvin and Sally felt the leading of the Lord to move to the Terre Haute region to sow into the prayer movement in the Wabash Valley and have been serving the WVIHOP Missions Base since.

Our EGS's are our times for focused worship, intercession and teaching on house of prayer themes with ministry times. These times of refreshing draw friends from around the region and across denominational lines.
10am-noon and 7pm-9pm are times of corporate prayer and worship.

"Hannah and Samuel" prayer time for moms and dads with kids at home TUESDAYS 10am-noon (Teaching kids how to pray and sing the Bible)
The Prayer Room is open to anyone during our open hours to come and pray and participate or just sit and be still. You can come for ten minutes or come the entire time. You are invited during corporate intercession times to come and pray on the microphone, but there is no pressure at all! The prayer room is all about encountering the Living God and having our hearts captured by Him; it's all about enjoyable prayer.
Ministries MINiSTRIES of the WVIHOP Missions base
PRAYER ROOM DEPARTMENT The prayer room is the center of all that we do on our missions base. The Prayer Room Department oversees and manages our mandate to keep the fire on the altar! This department include our "section leaders" who manage 6 hour shifts in the prayer room. The PR Dept. Head is Larry Swank.
CHILDRENS FREEDOM CENTER (CFC) The CFC will be a voice on behalf of children worldwide and a practical extension of the heart of Jesus who places the solitary in families (Ps. 66) and sets the captives free (Is. 61:1). The CFC team works with individual children who need freedom ministry and have plans to work with kids rescued out of human trafficking who need restoration. CFC seeks to be adoption advocates as well as working with the current foster care system. Future plans are for a large piece of land to house many children and families where the house of prayer is central to the community. The CFC Dept. Head is Sally Adams.
FREEDOM ROOMS The Freedom Rooms are set times for individuals to receive freedom prayer ministry from a trained freedom ministry team. These are overseen by Sally Adams. Contact her at marvsaljam_aol.com for more information. These teams work by individual appointments.
PROPHECY ROOMS WVIHOP's prophetic teams minister to individuals by appointment twice a month (on Wednesdays). If you would like to be ministered to prophetically and need encouragement from the Lord, sign up for a 15 minute slot at the information desk at the prayer room entrace. If you would like training to be on a prophecy team for our prophecy rooms, please check out out quarterly School of Prophecy trainings. Check our Events tab for upcoming dates. The Prophecy Rooms are overseen by Robin Puerner and Dennis Howe.
HEALING ROOMS (soon to come) The WVIHOP Healing Rooms function very similarly to the prophecy and freedom rooms, except the focus is for individual physical healing. Those interested would sign up for an appointment for healing prayer. More info. to come.
JUSTICE DIVISION WVIHOP Missions Base' Luke 18 and Isaiah 58 mandate to walk out the second commandment through daily acts of justice, mercy and evangelism; our goal is to have Justice Teams going out daily while the prayer room is contending for speedy justice and breakthrough! The Justice Division is ran by Kevin Kolchek.
Torch Network Indiana (TNI) Raising up vibrant watches of prayer in all 92 counties of Indiana through a relational network of friends who would stand as a state-wide house of prayer in the end of the age
Worship School A Music/Arts School offering classes in basic guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, sound, dance, art, worship leading, and prophetic singing. Classes to be announced.
